The Edmonton Clansmen Rugby Club relies on volunteers to allow us to run as the quality club we are.

Volunteering is a great way to stay connected as a retired player, to get more out of your club experience, and to build up the rugby community!

Current Opportunities

  • The Clan is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to develop and lead our Sponsorship plan for 2026.

    Working with the VP Operations, the Sponsorship Director will help to meet the club’s fundraising targets through the acquisition of cash and in-kind sponsorship from the corporate sector and the maintenance and development of the club’s existing sponsorship relationships. 

    1. Develop and implement a sponsorship strategy/plan to grow revenue streams for the club

    2. Maintain and foster positive relationships with a portfolio of sponsors by assisting in the implementation, delivery and management of sponsorship agreements in an effective manner

    3. Work closely with club members to identify potential partners in the club’s network

    4. Work in conjunction with other clubs and the Union to share best practices and build in the net benefit to the local rugby community

    5. Keep clear and concise records to track agreed benefits to ensure we are fulfilling all obligations.

  • The Clan is looking for an enthusiastic and creative person to appoint as our Kit Manager for 2026.

    Working with the VP Operations the Kit Director will help to provide the club with branded clothing, equipment and promotional products. 

    1. As a leader set the direction for design of Clan branded supporter clothing that will be available for members through stock purchasing and special orders 

    2. Work closely with club members that have specific ordering requirements to source quality, competitively priced items, such as jerseys, game balls, and training equipment, from the club’s network of suppliers

    3. Maintain inventory to ensure a consistent supply of in-stock items such as training tops, shorts and socks for players.

    4. Keep clear and concise records of purchases to track costs and quality from various suppliers to facilitate annual evaluations.
